Suspected hoodlums on Wednesday killed a police officer in Ekwulobia and burnt down a patrol vehicle belonging to the police in the area.
Mohammed Haruna, the police spokesperson in Anambra State, who confirmed the incident said the commissioner of police in the state had visited the scene of the killing and has ordered an investigation.
According to him, the command is not yet certain about the number of officers killed.
