Gunmen on Monday attacked the convoy of a former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, killing no less than four of his police orderlies.
The Monday evening attack occurred at Oriagu, Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of the state.
Though the vehicle he was in narrowly escaped, his backup car was bombed by the hoodlums, leading to the death of the four police officers.
The All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain was with two of his children and was returning from a visit when the attack occurred.
