The Lagos Judicial Panel on police atrocities has disclosed that the Nigerian Army and police killed twelve protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Recall that on the 20th day of October, at the heat of the protest against brutalities by the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, security agencies opened fire on protesters at the toll gate.
Despite video evidence, the Federal Government through the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed claimed that no one was killed by security agents at the toll gate.
But in its report published on Monday, the panel found out that the twelve persons were killed while scores others were injured.
