The estranged wife of the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, Mrs Precious Chikwendu, says some imminent Nigerians tried to save her marriage from falling apart.
According to her, former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuku; Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB; and late Prophet Temitope Balogun T.B Joshua tried to mediate in her marital crisis with Fani-Kayode.
Chikwendu who disclosed this in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, described her marriage to the former minister as a violent one.
According to her, Fani-Kayode would beat and punch her at the early stage of her pregnancy, adding that Fani-Kayode would direct his bodyguards to lock her up after assaulting her.
The former beauty queen said that after beating her, the former minister would ask for photo opts as cover-ups.
She said, “Even at the course of the embryo implanting in me, I had the most violent experience, beatings and punches and he would tell me that he would get rid of me.
“The Dasukis have been involved, both Colonel Dasuki Sambo and his wife have been involved. Nnamdi Kanu, even at some point, called me to plead with me. I got a call from the late T. B Joshua to at least come over to Lagos, that he wanted to settle the issue.”
Fani-Kayode’s seven years marriage to Chikwendu crashed last year due to battery and allegations of infidelity.
While Chikwendu accused the former minister of constantly beating her, the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain made claims of infidelity against his wife.
To this end, Chikwendu had alleged that Fani-Kayode was having mental health challenges.
