CP arrests officers for maltreating Orlu residents

Imo State Commissioner of Police, Nasiru Mohammed has ordered the arrest of officers seen in a viral video maltreating residents of Orlu.

The CP also condemned the inhuman treatment and assault on the five persons at Banana Junction, Orlu. The officers were seen lying the five persons down on the floor and flogging them in the process.

The police command in a statement said the treatments meted out on the persons were unethical, unprofessional and unacceptable.

“While Condemning the actions of the officers, the command wishes to inform the general public that the officers have been identified, arrested and has commenced disciplinary actions against them accordingly.
