Nigerian pop sensation, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay, has received a silver plaque for his hit single, ‘Love Nwantiti’.
Parlophone Limited recognized the star after ‘Love Nwantiti’ topped silver certification of over 200,000 sales in the UK.
Sharing the picture of the plaque on his Instagram account, Ckay wrote: “My first plaque.”
‘Love Nwantiti’ which was released in 2019 became a hit and received international recognition in 2021 after a viral challenge on Tiktok.
Fans and other celebrities took to his Instagram to congratulate him on the latest achievement, notable among them are, Davido, Neyo, DJ Spinall, May D among others.
Davido wrote: “First of many”, Neyo on the other hand wrote: “Congrats kiddo! Keep going!!”
