The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Balogun Joshua, has died.
People Gazette quoted a family source as saying the televangelist died in Lagos on Saturday evening shortly after concluding a programme at his church.
He was 57. The reason for his death was not immediately clear.
Mr Joshua was popular for his prophesies, attracting a large number of Christians from across the world.
In 2014, a collapsed section of his church killed more than 100 persons, mostly South Africans.
He was investigated by the Lagos State government. He denied allegations of negligence and a trial over the incident was still underway prior to his demise.
