Police operatives have arrested CSP Patrick Chukwuemeka Agabzue, the commander of the notorious Awkuzu Police station for masterminding killings in the state and dealing on human parts.
Agbazue was accused of masterminding several disappearances and killings in the state.
He was also accused of killing suspects and harvesting their organs, leading to calls for his arrest.
The force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi had while responding to calls for Agabzue’s arrest on Thursday said “The Force Headquarters is aware of this case. We are looking into it with all the seriousness it deserves. The IGP personally has stepped into the case, and we hope to speak, officially, to the matter. Pls be calm while we take necessary action”
It was gathered from sources that Agabzue was arrested on Friday in Awka and is currently being detained at the Police headquarters in Anambra.
