Chris Emeka Azubogu, member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo federal constituency in the House of Representatives has formally joined the race for the November 6th Anambra gubernatorial election,
Azubogu who picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primaries said he decided to vie for the post due to his determination to drive growth and sustainable development in Anambra State.

According to him, he is in tune with the dynamics of purposeful leadership required in the state to transform her into an industrial and economic hub in the South East.
He noted that the state has blazed the trail in many areas of human endeavour but needs a pragmatic and focused governor to reclaim the state’s glorious past.
