Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said he is open to reconciling with the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.

Atiku said that the PDP is one big family, adding that there is no division in the party.

Speaking in Osun State on Thursday on the disagreement between he and Wike, he said “there is no Wike’s camp or Atiku’s camp. It is all social media drama. The PDP is one big family”

But when asked if he is open to reconciling with Wike, Atiku contradicted his earlier claim that there was no division in the party, saying he is open to talks with the Rivers State governor.

State governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have arrived in Osun State ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The governors stormed the state for the PDP’s mega rally in favour of the party’s candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke.

Present in the state are Governors Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, who is also the Vice presidential candidate of the party.

Also present is the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

However, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State is noticeably absent.

Other chieftains who were absent include governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Ayo Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti state.
