The Labour Party’s presidential campaign council says Arise TV nanagement broke their own ground rules & shifted the goalpost in the middle of the game at the Town Hall meeting it organised for presidential candidates.
The Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar did not attend the interview but sent his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State.
But the Labour Party through it’s deputy director-general of the presidential campaign, Oseloka Obaze said that a presidential town hall or debate means exactly that in letter & spirit.
According to him, “Yesterday at the Town Hall, Arise TV nanagement broke their own ground rules & shifted the goalpost in the middle of the game.
“A presidential town hall or debate means exactly that in letter & spirit. Henceforth, LP Presidential candidate will not participate in mixed debates”.
