The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the rescheduled election in the Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State.
The candidate of APGA for Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Nwobashi Joseph was declared the winner by the INEC Declaration Officer, Prof. A.O. Ibegbu, in the April 15, 2023 Rerun election in the Constituency.
APGA candidate polled a total of 11,890 votes to defeat his closest rival – the candidate of PDP – who got 11,150 votes. Labour Party garnered 8,076 votes.
The Constituency is where the APGA Governorship candidate, Prof. Bernard Odo comes from.
