Ahead of the November 6th gubernatorial election, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has cleared four aspirants for its primaries while five others including Assembly Member, Nonso Smart Okafor were disqualified from the race.
Those cleared by the screening Committee include former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Damian Okolo, ThankGod Ibe and Ezenwankwo Okwudili, Ewepudike.
Those disqualified include Ozoka Odera Ifeanyi, Umeoduagu Dike, Akafor Nonso, Nwakpo Sullivan and Umeoji Chukwuma.
A statement signed by Ifeanyi Mbaeri, Secretary of the National Organising Committee advised those disqualified to appeal their disqualification.
