The Anambra State government destroyed the hideout of suspected kidnappers in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.
The destruction was carried out by the ministry of works on Friday.
According to a statement by the governor’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the building was demolished after a gang of kidnappers was traced to the location by security operatives.
A locally-made pistol, shrine, charms, concoctions, Indian hemp, among other incriminating materials were discovered during the demolition.
