Abducted Anambra lawmaker beheaded


Okechukwu Okoye, Anambra State House of Assembly member representing Aguata constituency 2 has been killed five days after his abduction.

Okoye, the assembly member representing governor Chukwuma Soludo was abducted on Sunday while riding in a black Toyota sienna.

Anambra State police command had said that efforts to rescue him were ongoing.

However, Okoye’s severed head and that of another unidentified woman were discovered at the Chisco Transportation company’s park in Amichi.

A gory video of severed heads has been trending on social media.

The state government has not confirmed the development as of the time of filing this report.
