In commemoration of his 60th birthday, Mr. Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State has donated a total of N6. 5 million to three hospitals while procuring learning equipment to schools.
Obi, a former Vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2019 general election presentef 10 laptop computers, 2 printers and a generator set to RECDOT comprehensive secondary school, Ozubulu.
Obi also presentef a cheque of N2.5 million naira to the management of Immaculate Heart Hospital, Nkpor, through the superior general, Rev sr. Jean-Mary Claude.
Other hospitals Obi presented cheques to include Iyienu specialist hospital, Ogidi, through the chief medical director, Rev. Tochukwu which he gave N2 million while St. Felix hospital, Nnewi was also presented with the cheque of N2 million.
