A 10-year-old Akubuisi Okonkwo has been crowned as the traditional ruler and King of Iyiora Anam, in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Akubuisi was named the ruler of the kingdom following the death of his father, Igwe Onyeachonam Okonkwo.
According to reports, Onyeachonam was also the youngest king in the state as at the time he was crowned and ruled for over four decades.
Crowning of children and teenagers king is not new in Igboland.
Recall that in 2016, 15-year-old Chukwuka Noah Akaeze was crowned king of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Delta State after he lost lost his father who kidnapped and murdered by alleged Fulani herders. .
